ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting (RQF Level 2)

This programme is also referred to as Foundation in Accountancy (FIA), Introductory Certificate. ACCA Foundation-level qualifications promote open access to a range of relevant and practical qualifications in accountancy and business. They provide the vital knowledge and skills needed by anyone working, or aspiring to work, in accountancy or finance from the age of 16 onwards. As such, learners do not require any previous qualifications to enrol for it. The programme is composed of two courses:

  • FA1 - Recording Financial Transactions

You’ll develop knowledge and understanding of the main types of business transactions and documentation and how these are recorded in an accounting system up to the trial balance stage.

  • MA1 - Management Information

You’ll develop knowledge and understanding of providing basic management information in an organisation to support management in planning and decision-making.


To enrol for this programme, a learner must register with ACCA as a student member and apply to be a TGMI learner. Subscription fees will have to be paid to ACCA at the start of each year to keep your account active.
